Botox/Dysport
Botox/Dysport is a neuromodulator medication that when injected, relaxes your muscles. Anti-wrinkle treatments work by blocking the signal from your nerves to your muscles. This means your muscles will no longer contract which diminishes fine lines and wrinkles. Not only does it have cosmetic benefits, but neuromodulators have many therapeutic benefits like minimizing excessive sweating, reducing migraines, and managing TMJ pain.

When does it start to work and how long does it last?
How long it takes for the effects to start varies from person to person, but it generally takes around 3 to 14 days before Botox or equivalents kicks in. When this happens, you’ll start to see minimized lines and wrinkles.
Results are not permanent. The muscles in the treated areas will temporarily be affected for 3-4 months, after which they will slowly begin to work again.
Who should not have Botox®, Dysport™ and equivalent treatments?
These treatments are elective. They should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as people who have had a previous allergic reaction to the drug or any of its ingredients. Anyone with a serious neurological, neuromuscular or immunological disease will need to consult with the Nurse Practitioner to determine their ability to undergo treatment. We do not treat individuals who are unwell or currently receiving antibiotic therapy.
Do I have to continue getting treatments once I’ve started?
No, you can choose to stop treatments anytime you like. Many people wonder if their treated areas will be "worse" after they have Botox or equivalents. The answer is absolutely not! Many people continue to see some benefit after product diminishes. This is because the muscle is rested for the duration of treatment, the muscle does not have the strength to generate the strong wrinkle-forming contractions you previously did pre-treatment.
Eventually, the longer you have without treatment you will regain strong dynamic muscle movement and associated wrinkles.
PCDC Fat Dissolving
PCDC - Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholic acid is a synthetic version of a bile acid that is found in our gut that is responsible for breaking down fat. When injected into the fat it targets and permanently dissolves the fat cells and then over the next several weeks, the body disposes of the cellular debris.

What can I expect during a PCDC treatment?
Treatments are quick, typically lasting around 30 minutes. Prior to treatment, a triple-strength, prescription numbing cream is applied to the treatment area so that the procedure is painless. After a few minutes, the numbing cream is removed and the skin is thoroughly cleansed with disinfectant to ensure sterility of the area during the procedure. Ice packs are also used to numb the area. The treatment area will be marked and the series of injections about 1cm apart. At the end of your appointment, you will be provided with post care instructions and what to expect during your healing process.
What are the side effects?
The most common side effects clients experience are redness, tenderness and bruising at the injection site which will lessen over a few days. Swelling at the injection site will last for several days after treatment. The degree of swelling and discomfort varies between patients and may be based upon the amount of fat tissue being treated.
During your consultation, your nurse injector will discuss post care instructions and follow up care will be provided to you to ease your concerns.
How many treatments do I need?
Every person is different, but results are typically seen after 2-3 sessions but up to 6 treatments can be done in one area. The chin area has an average of 3 treatments, and the body can require up to 6 treatments to achieve the desired results. Treatments are done no sooner than 4-6 weeks apart.
Is PCDC permanent?
YES! Once you’ve reached your desired result, the fat cells are destroyed, thus they are not able to accumulate fat in the treated area. Unless you gain a sustainable amount of weight and new fat cells accumulate, this treatment will last forever.

IV Vitamin Therapy
What to expect during the consultation
During your consultation, our nurse will explain to you the benefits and potential risks of IV vitamin drip therapy.
She will ask you questions about your medical history, current health status, and any medications you are taking to ensure that vitamin drip therapy is safe for you.
What to expect during treatment
During the vitamin drip administration process, our nurse will insert an IV catheter into your arm or hand to administer the vitamin drip. This process is typically painless, but you may feel a slight pinch as the needle is inserted.
Once the IV catheter is in place, we will monitor the drip carefully throughout the treatment to ensure that you are receiving the full benefits of the vitamin drip therapy.
If you experience any discomfort during the treatment, such as pain or swelling at the site of the IV catheter, we will adjust the flow rate of the drip to ensure that you are comfortable. Our nurse will work closely with you throughout the treatment to ensure that you have a positive experience and that you receive the full benefits of the vitamin drip therapy.
After the vitamin drip treatment is complete, your nurse will carefully remove the catheter and apply pressure to the site to minimize any bleeding or bruising.
